Sign up now for the November 7th project.
Project Details: TBD
How this Works:A few days prior to the weekend, I will send you a gate pass for free admission to the park, along with information on the location of our campsite. We will start work at 9 a.m. Saturday and finish near 3 p.m. The work will be such that you can work at your own pace, and the NPS will provide all required tools.
You're free to do as you like after we complete the project. Some people will go climbing while others may go for a hike.
Please be awake by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and ready to leave no later than 8:30. It does take a while to eat, clean up and get ready to work.
Previous Projects: Previous projects can be viewed in the Gallery.
Work Gear: Please bring proper shoes to work in (NO TEVAS OR SANDALS). Tennis shoes are OK, hiking boots are better. The park service should have plenty of gloves too, but if you have your own, bring them. Also, be prepared to bring a lunch and some water. We usually take a break around noon and eat.
Weather: The weather in Yosemite can change within a few hours. Please be prepared for it.
Camping: This information will be provided to you with the Yosemite Gate Pass when you sign up. The Yellow Pines campground has two 'comfort' stations and water is provided. All food MUST be kept in the bear-proof boxes located in each campsite. Updates: Check this page or the web site at http://www.pgvip.net for some updates and other details.

Nov. 7th project
We were so grateful to have a chance to join you for the last trip of the season. The food was outstanding -- thank you Dan -- and the company (as always) was full of humor, hard work and lively debate. Please let me know if the wooden plaques include one made out to our french exchange student (Alex Bier). I would love to send it to him in France.
Stuart Warnsman: Sorry I missed seeing you at PG in the City on 10/30. Send me your phone number and I will arrange to pick up the plaques from you the next time I'm down that way.
See you all at the holiday party I hope!
Donna & Dave
Thanks
What a Great Group you guys are!
Thanks very much for welcoming me, it was very rewarding to be able to cook for such an amiable group who appreciated it.
FYI: on the way to climb I got a call from Yosemite mountaining school about the class I had inquired about and was told that there was another student waiting for me. It was too expensive by myself (rate by # Students) and since they never called on Saturday (Like they said they would) I presumed nobody else had signed up. My Catholic Guilt would not let me be the cause of the other guy paying an extra $75, so I went.
I apolgize to you climbers,
Thanks again!!!

anybody want to car pool from SF, I'll be leaving Friday evening, probably later than I want to, and no earlier than 7pm, in a car with room for two, possibly three, and gear.
carpool?
Anyone interested in carpooling? I'm car-less and live in SF, but I can meet at any BART/Muni/Caltrain accessible location. Please email me at canrane@yahoo.com
Thanks!

November 7th
AWESOME!
Working on a menu, I was thinking Brunch @ the Ahwahanee but for the same $ I could make eggs benedict for EVERONE and we'd be in a more comfortable situation, (Hopefully!)
Any ideas?
